32.5 Hours per week - 9 month Fixed Term Contract | Competitive Salary
Do you have experience in working as a clearer or as a housekeeper? KIMS Hospital is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant working nights for a fixed term of 9 months. If you enjoy being active in your job, have amazing attention to detail and want to be part of something bigger this could be perfect for you!
Role Responsibilities include:
- To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
- Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.
- To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital
- Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements.
Person Specification:
- Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting
- Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department
- Be a good team player
