Summary

Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor that wants to make a difference? We are looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Platform Property Care Commercial team, where you'll play a key role in providing financial and budgetary control, ensuring that income and costs are correct. 

In this role you'll be responsible for ensuring the correct income is claimed and expenditure aligns with material supplier's terms, monitoring and auditing of supplier and subcontract invoices, producing estimates and quotations (including NHF SORs) and attending Stakeholder meetings where required.

Some things we need from you:
-HNC in Construction/Quantity Surveying or similar or equivalent experience

-Experience in pricing completed building maintenance works using NHF SORs / Cost Model or first Principles.

-You will be a good communicator within the team and contribute to continuous improvement within the team and company

-Reliable and customer-focused with a can-do attitude, strong IT and analytical skills, excellent numeracy, and a keen eye for accuracy and detail

-Experience within a construction background with knowledge of NHF SOR's (National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates) is essential

Working Arrangements:This role is home-based; however, you must be willing and able to travel to our offices for training and meetings, and to attend site visits and other locations as necessary (primarily across Worcestershire).
