About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our dedicated team supporting adults with mental health needs and challenging behaviour in a supported living setting.
You will play an important role in promoting independence and improving the quality of life for the people we support through person-centred care and consistent support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs
Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
Support individuals with daily routines and community activities
Maintain accurate records and complete daily reports
Promote positive behaviour and de-escalate challenging situations using CPI or PMVA techniques
Work effectively as part of a team and follow care and support plans
Requirements
Essential
CPI or PMVA training (current and valid- prefered)
Minimum six months experience working with individuals with mental health needs or challenging behaviour
Experience in a supported living environment
Comfortable providing personal care and assisting with daily living tasks
Reliable, compassionate, and committed to promoting independence
Able to administer medication
