Job Purpose: The Administrative Assistant 2 (Cladding Remediation Liaison) will provide an effective liaison between tenants, private owners, housing associations, internal stakeholders and external contractors to support the delivery of a programme of building surveys known as Single Building Assessments (SBA) which will be carried out in views to remediate any issues or concerns found in the assessed buildings in respect with the Section 32 of the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Act 2024.

The proposed Single Building Assessments and follow up remedial works will be carried out by qualified contractors appointed by the Highland Council and under the Single Open Call launched through the Cladding Remediation Programme of the Scottish Government.

Key responsibilities include providing information and support to tenants and private owners of the buildings in scope during the entirety of the assessment and remediation process, and developing communication strategies to foster a strong, collaborative relationship between all stakeholders administrating the programme as per Scottish Government guidelines and milestones.

The postholder will also undertake a range of general administrative processes or tasks in accordance with pre-determined procedures or instructions.

Requirements

Experience of Housing Service or similar customer service.

Have access to personal transport or be able to travel to meet the requirements of the
post.
