Teaching Assistant – 12 Hours Per Week, Grade 4, £7,033 to £7,144 per annum (actual salary)
Higher Level Teaching Assistant – 12 Hours Per Week, Grade 7, £8,718 to £8,913 per annum (actual salary)

Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our support team.

The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting the teaching and learning in the classroom, under the direction of teaching staff. You will also work as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, covering PPA of class teachers. This is a rewarding role where you will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and management of the class. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual children, and excellent interpersonal skills.

The position is on a part-time basis working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.00pm, and 1.00pm to 3.15pm, with a non-working afternoon on a Thursday.
