Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of all HR Administration and associated functions. Ensure all administration duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales, and reporting to the management team as necessary. HR Responsibilities Include: Assist in recruitment and selection activities including liaising with recruitment agencies, arranging interviews, posting job adverts on websites and administering post-interview paperwork. Co-ordinate the probation process, ensuring managerial staff have diarised meetings and have submitted appropriate paperwork for filing. Coordinate the administration of training and development records for staff. Co-ordinate the leaver process, including acknowledging resignations, calculating outstanding annual leave allowance and maintain records of exit interviews. To effectively administer and update HR documentation, in line with external advisor guidance and company policy. Monitor holiday, sickness/absence records and report to line management where triggers are reached. Conduct DBS checks where necessary and ensure all right to work documents are up to date and recorded. Monitor and maintain the Practice Bonus scheme of the whole Practice against objectives and report on results. To correspond with external HR partners on the development and implementation of policies on all HR issues. Business Responsibilities include: Ensure all staff timesheets are collected and accurately collated for payroll, proactively reminding managers of submission deadlines. Attend meetings, prepare agendas, write minutes, and ensure distribution of minutes as necessary. Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation. Contribute to TGI Friday ensuring that Birthdays and length of service are celebrated, and that training and bonus information is shared with the teams. To complete the NHS Workforce census monthly. Health & Safety The post-holder will assist in promoting and maintaining their own and others health, safety and security as defined in the practice health & safety policy, the practice health & safety manual, and the practice infection control policy and published procedures. This will include: Using personal security systems within the workplace according to practice guidelines Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks Making effective use of training to update knowledge and skills Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy and safe way, free from hazards Actively reporting health and safety hazards and infection hazards immediately when recognised Keeping own work areas and general / patient areas generally clean, assisting in the maintenance of general standards of cleanliness consistent with the scope of the job holders role Undertaking periodic infection control training (minimum annually) Reporting potential risks identified Demonstrate due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
