As a Contract Aquatics Manager within our Birmingham Community Leisure Trust (BCLT) team, you’ll lead and grow our aquatics programme across eight sites. Your work will help improve the quality, consistency, and reach of swimming lessons, supporting more people to be confident, safe, and active in the water.

You’ll be entrusted to:
- Drive the success and commercial performance of swimming lessons and aquatics products across multiple sites.
- Manage, develop and mentor a team of Swimming Coordinators, ensuring consistent programme quality and growth.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development plans for aquatics teams, including delivery of CPDs and teacher meetings.
- Use data and reporting to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement in retention and quality.
- Lead the development of school swimming and funded aquatics programmes to meet community and commercial needs.
- Ensure sites within the contract remain compliant with pool, lifeguard and swimming teacher qualification audits, inductions, quarterly NRASTC training for self-supervision, and safeguarding CPDs.
- Support communication, marketing, and customer engagement to make Serco the swimming lesson provider of choice locally.
