Senior Transport Planner | Sheffield | £45–55k (DOE) | Hybrid
I’m working with a well-established planning, design, and engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. Their Sheffield office is looking to bring on a Senior Transport Planner to support a growing pipeline of development and infrastructure projects.
The Role
You’ll be joining a busy and collaborative transport team delivering work across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role will involve:
- Leading Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Access Appraisals
- Preparing junction capacity assessments (Junctions 9, ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig)
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and design teams
- Contributing to project and fee proposals, and helping grow client relationships
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5+ years’ experience in development or transport planning
- Proficiency with TRICS, Junctions 9, LinSig, and TEMPRO
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- Experience managing small to medium-sized projects
- A relevant degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar
