Summary

Exciting Opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager – Outstanding Montessori Nursery at North West London.

Location: Pinner HA5
Excellent Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with flexible shifts between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with one half-day per week.

Your Role as Deputy Nursery Manager:
As a key part of the Senior Management Team, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care and education. Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring the nursery operates efficiently and meets all EYFS and Ofsted standards
Supporting and leading a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality learning experiences
Overseeing daily nursery operations in the absence of the Nursery Manager
Encouraging a collaborative and creative working environment
Building strong relationships with parents, children, and staff
Conducting staff performance reviews, appraisals, and peer observations
Managing healthcare plans, safeguarding procedures, and compliance requirements
Organizing and leading staff training, events, and mentoring sessions

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive leader who is passionate about childcare. Our ideal candidate will have:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education
Extensive experience in a Montessori classroom (Montessori qualification from MCI/AMI London is a plus!)
Proven leadership experience within an early years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
A positive, solution-focused approach and the ability to motivate staff and children
Good ICT skills
