Are you someone with a passion for making a difference? If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Person be support:

We support two brothers that live together, Paul and John, and share their home with their sister Christine.

They all share the home with Christine's dogs. So being a dog lover is desirable but not essential.

Paul is a bubbly man who enjoys a good laugh. He finds it difficult to speak in certain situations or environments but understands and communicates well with gestures. He likes to help out around the house and is encouraged to get involved as much as possible.

John is cheeky chap and loves a good laugh. He enjoys chatting to others but loves some down time, watching television or listening to the radio.

Both men need independence promoting to be involved in everyday tasks and learn new skills whilst upholding their right to make choices around the support they require.

What will I be doing?

Both men require prompting and encouragement with regards to general daily tasks and personal care.

John gets around well, though he finds it difficult to stand for extended periods, so occasional mobility support may be required. He does have a wheelchair he can use when out and about.

Paul goes to TASC, a day service, most days. But on Wednesdays and Fridays he is at home meaning two staff will be on shift to provide 1:1 support. On these days staff can take both men out in Paul's car to do the things they enjoy such as going to the cinema or cafes.

Therefore a full UK Manual licence is essential for this job role and to support John and Paul.

Shifts Patterns:

Day Shifts: Monday - Friday 08:00AM until 18:00PM, Saturday and Sunday 10:00AM until 18:00PM
This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
