Summary
Class 1 HGV Driver – Airport Cargo Collections & Deliveries (Imports & Exports)
AT Staffing Solutions – Heathrow / Colnbrook / Slough
AT Staffing Solutions is looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support Heathrow’s busy import and export cargo operations.
All work is landside only and involves transporting freight between airline cargo sheds, bonded warehouses, and local depots.
We are specifically looking for drivers who are experienced with airport-style freight, including PMCs, rollerbeds, ULD movements, and palletised cargo.
Key Responsibilities
Completing Class 1 collections and deliveries for Heathrow import and export cargo
Handling PMCs, rollerbeds, ULDs, and palletised freight safely and accurately
Collecting loads from airline cargo sheds such as Dnata, WFS, Menzies, Swissport, ASC, etc.
Securing loads correctly and operating rollerbed trailers confidently
Conducting daily vehicle checks and following all warehouse loading instructions
Completing documentation, PODs, and delivery records accurately
Requirements
Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience – essential
Strong experience working with:
PMCs
Rollerbed trailers
ULDs
Airport-style cargo operations
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
Good level of communication and professionalism
Reliable, punctual, and confident with tight warehouse schedules
