Are you caring, organised, and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day? I’m looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant to support me in living an active, independent, and fulfilling life.
I share my home with my lovely partner, our dog, and our cat, and I have a range of interests — from music festivals and word puzzles to reading and audiobooks. With an MSc in Clinical Psychology from the Open University, I’m passionate about inclusion and enjoy my volunteer work with an advocacy organisation that promotes social inclusion in local communities.
Your support will include daily personal care such as helping me get up, shower, dress, prepare meals, and assist with medication when needed. You’ll also help with evening care, including bathing and getting ready for bed. Experience with hoists is helpful but not essential — training can be provided.
Household support includes keeping the home clean and tidy, managing laundry, changing bed linen, and assisting with light cleaning and meal preparation. You’ll also help with basic admin tasks like keeping track of medical supplies and appointments.
Occasionally, you’ll accompany me on shopping trips, medical visits, and social outings — helping me stay connected to the community I care deeply about.
If you are kind, approachable, trustworthy, and sensitive to individual needs, I’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful, person-centred work in a friendly and welcoming home.
