At Chapter Care, we believe care should feel like family. Our team is made up of kind, down-to-earth people who genuinely enjoy helping others live comfortably and confidently at home. If you’re someone who finds joy in making a real difference every day, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll support individuals in their own homes, helping them stay independent, happy, and safe. Every day is a little different, but you can expect to:
Help with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare meals and support with nutrition.
Administer medication safely and accurately.
Offer friendly companionship and emotional support.
Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, or errands.
Assist with light housekeeping to keep homes clean and safe.
Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and your Chapter Care colleagues to ensure every person receives the care and attention they deserve.
Unlike many care roles that only pay for the time spent directly with clients, at Chapter Care we pay for your whole shift — including travel and downtime. That means:
Full shift pay for every minute you dedicate to our clients.
Less rushing and more time to connect with the people you care for.
Predictable income and easier planning for your day.
We’ll also make sure you’re fully supported from day one. Our intensive 2-week training programme runs alongside all 16 Care Certificate standards and includes:
Client introductions
Shadowing experienced carers on visits
Practical, hands-on learning in real-life scenarios
Accredited training in First Aid, Safe Moving & Handling and Medication Administration.
Individual Personal Development Plan (PDP) and optional enrollment on Care Cerificate and / or Health & Social Care Diplomas.
Whether you’re new to care or experienced, this all ensures you feel confident, skilled, and ready to make a difference.
About you
You don’t need years of experience — what matters most is your compassion, reliability, and willingness to make a difference. If you’ve worked in care before, fantastic — but we also offer guidance and support to those starting their journey in care.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have a kind, patient, and understanding nature.
Are a good communicator who enjoys connecting with people.
Can work independently but also value being part of a supportive team.
Have a driving licence and your own transport (preferred, but not essential).
Have experience in community care, palliative care or dementia support (a bonus, not a must).
What we offer
Full paid shifts — your time matters, from start to finish.
Flexible scheduling with localised visits.
Local office support team, available from 6am until 10pm, 365 days a year.
Ongoing mentoring and wellbeing support.
Company pension and employee discounts.
Health and wellbeing programme (including free flu jabs).
Free parking with local authority care worker permit.
A team where kindness is truly valued and every visit makes a difference.
If you’re looking for a role where you can care with heart, be valued for all the time you give, and work with a team that truly looks after its own, we’d love to hear from you.
