The purpose of the Sales Executive role is to Manage, develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities in order to deliver profitable revenue growth for Commercial Services to ensure that Serco achieves set Commercial Services objectives and targets.

Main Duties
· Proactively sell, driving profitable new business within a regional sales area to achieve set quarterly and annual business targets.
· Manage a regional sales area of customers and prospect lists for business opportunities, maximising opportunities for growth and drive the efficiency of existing customer base and maintaining an account plan.
· Be the primary interface between Serco and our target customers being responsible for current and new client pricing negotiations.
· Report, call, lead, quote and contract activity ensuring delivery of sales on to the company operating system.
· To produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly personal sales performance to Senior Managers in Commercial Services as well as adhoc business performance requests.
· To participate and contribute to best practice working within Serco by collaboration with various team members across a variety of Serco divisions.
· To support and liaise regularly with the Sales Manager to monitor the progress of the strategic sales direction within the region.
· Ensure compliance with the Serco Country Standard Operating Procedures (CSOPs).
· Deliver profitable new revenue streams across the range of Commercial Services activities provided by Serco.
· To support the development and achieve a robust sales strategy and sales objectives for the Business Unit to meet business targets, including growth aspirations.
· To conduct regular reviews of plans, monitoring and taking action to ensure business targets are met, including submitting accurate and timely reports to the appropriate line management.
· To represent and promote the ‘Serco Way’ and the Values of the business to customers, stakeholders, the community and the public, fostering a partnership approach to relationships enabling enhancement of knowledge of the sales process.
· To develop and maintain a network of relationships with the customer, potential customers, partners and stakeholders, including at depot level, in order to anticipate and meet customers and stakeholders existing and future needs.
· Ensure customer expectations are met with consideration to legal and compliant requirements.
· Build a Portfolio of key account customers to ensure a mutual long-term relationship and maintenance of revenues, internally and externally to deliver business success.
· Scanning the external environment and securing information sources that will underpin good decisions.
· Support a clear and focused business direction given current organisational capacity and external factors. Balancing risk and return in making decisions on business opportunities to achieve better short and long-term results.

· UK Driving Licence
· Background knowledge of the Services industry (desirable not essential)
· Proven ability to deliver against sales targets and objectives
