Summary
Yard Operative
Outskirts of Newark
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Own transport required due to location
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Yard Operative to support our clients based on the outskirts of Newark. This is a temp to perm role, offering long-term stability for someone reliable, hardworking, and keen to develop within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, loading, and unloading equipment and materials
• Checking items in and out to ensure everything is ready and in good condition
• Maintaining the yard and storage areas to a high standard
• Assisting with the repair, cleaning, and organisation of stock
• Supporting drivers and site teams with logistics and deliveries
• Ensuring all health & safety standards are met on-site
What We’re Looking For:
Previous yard & warehouse experience is an advantage (but not essential – full training provided)
A practical, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and pride in presentation
Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Own transport essential due to the site location
