Location: Multiple Sites (travel required) | Pay: £13.26 per hour | Hours: 37 per week | Days: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm | Type: Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Facilities Support Officer to join a busy, hands-on team delivering essential building and facilities support across multiple sites. This is a varied role ideal for someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys a working day that's never the same.

Key Duties:
  • Opening and closing buildings.

  • Meeting and greeting visitors and contractors.

  • Handling deliveries and post.

  • Setting up rooms, moving furniture, and general porterage.

  • Supporting events and emergency procedures.

  • Carrying out light cleaning and upkeep of shared areas.

  • Assisting with electric car inductions and maintaining resource spaces.

Requirements:
  • GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent.

  • Facilities Management qualification (BIFM Level 3 / FM Apprenticeship) or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling, and cleaning techniques.

  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Great communication skills, organised, and flexible approach.

  • Able to travel between sites when required.
