South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Fitness Assistant within Coalburn Leisure Centre.
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and experienced individual to use their vast knowledge of health, fitness and exercise to support the hardest to reach individuals in our communities on their health and fitness journey. You will support them by using motivational interview techniques, goal setting, and offering social prescribing opportunities to help them find the best ways to achieve them.
As a member of the gym team you’ll be flexible and hard working to juggle the above along with delivering Perfect Fit appointments to new members and support existing members, all while ensuring a spotlessly clean gym that guarantees customers wish to return time and time again.
A relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential. Further health and fitness qualifications are desirable.
