Summary

The Role:
If you are committed to providing excellent customer service and can contribute cheerfully and positively to an efficient, high quality library service, then Cheshire East Libraries could be the place for you.
We currently have a 12 month fixed term contract for a Library Assistant at Bollington Library.
About You:
You will need to demonstrate an interest in people, information, books and lifelong learning. You should have a willingness to engage with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and have experience of working in a customer facing environment.
The role involves shelving returned books, issuing items, helping people use the self-service machines and the public access computers, staffing the customer service point, administration, and assisting with events for adults and children, such as our popular RhymeTime and Baby Bounce sessions.
