The role will be to supervise students during internal and external examinations and assessments to facilitate the smooth running of the process under the direction of the Lead Invigilator. As well as invigilation, this will include distributing and collecting papers, escorting pupils if required and ensuring that pupils are adhering to the examination standard guidelines at all times.
This role may suit applicants who are flexible in their availability, as working opportunities occur throughout the academic year. Successful applicants should expect to be called upon during the summer examinations season.
The successful candidate will need to have:
• Experience of working in a busy environment, for example, school or office;
• Good communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively and clearly with both pupils and staff.
• An understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and a commitment to child welfare and safety.
