Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our supported living team. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to adults, helping them to live as independently as possible in their own homes and within the community. You’ll assist individuals with day-to-day tasks such as managing their home, attending health appointments, budgeting, shopping, cooking, and taking part in social and leisure activities. You’ll encourage confidence, promote choice and independence, and support each person to achieve their personal goals. This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, understanding, and passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Main Duties
Support individuals with daily living skills, routines, and community activities.
Encourage independence and promote inclusion in all aspects of life.
Accompany and support people to appointments, social events, and outings.
Assist with managing household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
Maintain clear and accurate records in line with company policies.
Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a care or supported living setting (paid or voluntary).
Kind, patient, and professional approach with good communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
Enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
