Summary
We currently have a job vacancy for a fully trained level 2 or higher Pest Control Technician to join our local, friendly business.
Candidates must live within or near Oxfordshire, have a clean, full driving licence. We will provide a van.
We are looking for an individual who can show initiative and work on their own in due course and who can work diligently to achieve customer satisfaction.
The role will include commercial and domestic pest control throughout Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties. This will require some longer travelling on some days.
Main Duties:
• To carry out varying pest control duties to all types of premises and locations
• To provide a high-quality service to all customers - commercial and domestic with a genuine interest in resolving their pest control issues
• To inspect, advise and plan appropriate treatment for pest problems
• To attend scheduled visits and same day call outs
• To maintain legible and presentable records
• To maintain a safe and stocked vehicle and to ensure safe working practices
The Candidate must:
• Be qualified to BPCA / RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management
• Be experienced in dealing with a range of pest problems
• Have a full, clean driving licence & mobile phone
• Be able to work with minimal supervision (once shadow training is complete)
• Be self-motivated, trustworthy, hardworking, reliable and honest with a good work ethic
• Have a positive attitude & use good common sense
• Be clean, tidy, organised and always have a professional manner
• Have good communication skills (both verbal and written) and be confident with dealing with customers at all levels
