McGinley Support Services is recruiting experienced Groundworkers for a major long-term civil engineering project on the A57 in Manchester, starting in 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work on one of the region's most significant infrastructure developments.

About the Role - Groundworker Jobs Manchester

As a Groundworker on the A57 project, you'll play a key role in delivering essential civil engineering and infrastructure works. Typical duties include:

  • Kerbing, drainage, ducting, and concreting

  • Excavation and reinstatement works

  • Supporting plant operators and trades on site

  • Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards

This is an ideal role for a skilled Groundworker looking for long-term employment on a landmark project in the Manchester area.

Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

  • Proven Groundworks experience (kerbing, drainage, ducting, concrete)

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
