Summary
The Beehive Childcare Group is a long-established setting, running from Kinchen Hall on Colman Road in Norwich. We have two inviting rooms and a large outdoor space that we love to spend time in every day. We cater for children aged 2 to 4 years old, and we are open from 7.45am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves on being a nurturing and inclusive setting, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our busy team.
The ideal applicant will have:
• A full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification
• English and maths GCSE or equivalent
• A working knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• Experience of being a key person and keeping electronic Learning Journeys
• Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Child Protection
• Be willing to undertake any training that is required to continue professional development
• Ability to use their own initiative, as well as follow instructions
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
This vacancy is for 29.25 hours per week, as follows:
Monday: 14.45 - 18.15
Tuesday: 14.45 - 18.15
Wednesday: 07.45 - 13.00
Thursday: 07.45 - 18.15
Friday: 10.45 - 18.15
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and must provide two satisfactory references prior to starting.
Start date: 1st December 2025 or as near as possible to this date.
