Temp to Perm with GXO at Co-op
Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking for a fresh opportunity with a company that values your work and provides long-term stability? At Co-op, one of the UK’s largest food retailers, they are seeking skilled and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join their team at their Avonmouth location.
We understand the importance of our drivers in ensuring our nationwide success. As part of GXO Logistics at Co-op, you'll play a critical role in delivering vital stock to Co-op stores across the Southwest of England and South Wales, ensuring communities stay stocked and running smoothly.
Shift Pattern: Any 5 days out of 7, 48 hours per week

• Hourly Pay: £19.29 (annual salary of £48,170.19)
• Overtime: Paid at time and a third

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be delivering fresh, ambient, and frozen products to both small and large Co-op stores, starting from a modern, clean, and well-organised depot. The work is straightforward, with tail lift deliveries and cages for easy handling. Full induction and training will be provided, ensuring you’re safe, confident, and ready from day one.
What You Need to Succeed:
• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, along with up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements).
• A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your initiative.
