You will be joining a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Warwickshire that supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and communication difficulties. Your new role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with their learning and development in both classroom and one‑to‑one settings.
- Assist with personal care routines where required.
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist with classroom activities and resources.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to adapt to different needs and situations.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, including personal care.
