Liverpool John Moores University is seeking an experienced and motivated Employer Engagement & Projects Manager to join our award-winning Student Futures team.

Student Futures is LJMU's Careers, Employability and Start-Up team. As a strategic partner across the University, we deliver innovative support, expertise and opportunities that empower students and graduates to thrive in their future careers. Working collaboratively with academic teams and external partners, we help transform potential into success.

As Employer Engagement & Projects Manager, you will: account manage partnerships with business support organisations; collate employer insight on skills, workforce development needs and proposed LJMU activities; and lead on the provision of guidance and developmental support to Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) seeking to access & benefit from degree-level talent. You will play a key role in connecting industry and education and lead a Work with LJMU attraction and recognition campaign.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in developing and sustaining successful external partnerships
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • A solid understanding of employer needs and talent development practices
  • The ability to communicate credibly and influence at all levels
