Summary
Neway International are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Older People/Adults Social Services team based with Powys County Council.
This role is starting asap, initially for a 6 month contract that is likely to be extended. Working 37 hours a week.

Powys County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker (Grade 11) to join a small, dynamic adult social care reviewing team. This temporary role is designed to support a peak in workload and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older people across Powys.
You will be part of a supportive team environment, working to deliver strengths‑based services, promote prevention, and ensure person‑centred practice.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake strengths‑based reviews and assessments for older people.
Deliver services that empower individuals and promote independence.
Manage complex and conflicting demands with professionalism.
Provide advice, guidance, and mentoring to colleagues to uphold high standards of practice.
Contribute to prevention‑focused initiatives and service improvements.
Ensure compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
