Summary
Job Description:
Duffryn FFrwd Manor Nursing & Residential Care Homes has been trading for almost 30 years. We are situated in Nantgarw which is near Pontypridd, Caerphilly and just off the M4 Corridor. We are looking for an enthusiastic and bubbly person to join our activities co-ordinator. You must be kind, caring and patient. Brief duties are as follows:
To plan daily/weekly activities.
Organise internal and external entertainment.
Encourage the residents to participate in daily activities.
Tailor some activities to meet individual's needs.
Maintain activity planners and relevant documentation.
You must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with the residents, families and other staff members. You must be able to drive and you must be computer literate.
This position can be permanent or part time (whatever suits you)
Hours & hourly rate will be discussed at interview
We would need to run a DBS Police check as you will be working with vulnerable adults
2 References are compulsory
2 Free Uniforms (in the first two years of employment)
