We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional to help shape how the University showcases the depth and impact of its research. You’ll play a vital role in defining how our work is seen, understood and valued
- from groundbreaking discoveries to collaborations that shape society.You’ll work closely with academics and research partners to uncover compelling stories and translate them into clear, engaging messages. You’ll bring experience across digital and traditional channels, strong account management skills and a collaborative approach.
In this role, you’ll plan and deliver marketing and communications activity that raises the profile of the University’s research and enhances its reputation. You’ll develop and implement plans and campaigns that align with the University’s core research themes and institutional priorities, ensuring your work connects effectively with key audiences. Acting as a contact for a portfolio of research centres, you’ll build a deep understanding of their priorities, stakeholders and goals.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, high motivation and positive attitude who has a background of demonstrable success in delivering high quality marketing and communications outputs. Applicants should show evidence of creative flair and an eye for a story. You will also be curious about the wider organisation, developing networks to enable you to seek out strong content ideas from colleagues across the research centres and the wider University.
