The Role – Used Car Sales Manager
As the Used Car Sales Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for leading the dealership’s sales operations, ensuring your team delivers exceptional results and consistently outstanding customer experiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing your team and driving the continued growth of this successful used car business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives, a Business Manager, and support staff
Drive performance to exceed sales, finance, and add-on product targets
Manage the full end-to-end used car sales process, ensuring a seamless customer journey
Maintain compliance with FCA and company standards
Develop and implement performance management, training, and coaching strategies
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in sales operations
Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver on dealership goals and objectives
About You
To succeed as a Used Car Sales Manager, you’ll be a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You’ll bring energy, commercial acumen, and a passion for helping your team achieve outstanding results.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or New Car Sales Manager (minimum 1 year)
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience in a main dealership or large car supermarket environment preferred
Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
Excellent understanding of the vehicle sales process and FCA compliance
