School Caretaker | Hartfield | £20,000 - £23,000 per Annum Pro Rata | 12.5 hours
This primary school is looking for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to join their friendly school team. This is a key role in helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ensuring the security of the school premises.
- Supporting with cleaning and tidying of communal areas.
- Monitoring health and safety standards across the site.
- Assisting with deliveries, furniture moves, and event setups.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role (school experience desirable).
- Good practical skills and a hands-on approach.
- A positive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
