Summary
Sensemaster Limited is a family-run distribution company based in Caldicot, specialising in industrial heating, electronic sensors, and anti-static solutions for customers around the world.
We’re growing and are looking for a motivated and technically minded Internal Technical Sales Support professional to join our friendly team
About the Role
As part of our office based technical sales team, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer support and technical expertise. Your work will help ensure customers receive the right solutions for their applications.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Responding to new customer enquiries and providing technical advice.
• Preparing quotes and tailored proposals for customer applications.
• Processing orders accurately and managing post-sale communication.
• Liaising between customers and manufacturers to resolve technical queries.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Attributes:
• Strong educational background (GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science — ideally Physics).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and improvement.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office and data entry systems such as Sage.
Desirable Experience:
• Previous experience in electrical engineering or electrical distribution.
• An interest in industrial heaters, electronic sensors, and anti-static products.
Don’t worry if you don’t have direct product experience — full training will be provided on our specialist ranges.
