As a Catering Assistant with ISS UK, you will be an ambassador for both ISS and our clients, supporting the smooth running of daily catering operations and helping to deliver an exceptional dining experience for all.
Your role will include assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring that all areas are well presented and stocked.
You’ll work closely with your team to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every customer enjoys efficient, friendly, and high-quality service.
The Role
Create a positive dining experience for customers and colleagues, delivering exceptional service at all times
Act as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact, engaging with customers’ queries about the menu, catering services, and facilities
Develop a strong understanding of the food and beverage offerings, promoting daily menus, special dishes, and available services
Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and team-oriented atmosphere
Look for opportunities to improve the catering service, food presentation, and overall customer experience, sharing your ideas with the team
Bring enthusiasm and positivity to your role, representing the business with pride and sharing your knowledge of the catering facilities and workplace culture
About You
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering outstanding experiences
A friendly, approachable, and professional manner with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues
Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required
A proactive and supportive attitude, always willing to assist others and contribute to a positive team environment
Experience using relevant systems and technology (e.g., Microsoft Office)
