ESS, part of Government Services, is looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead operations for our prestigious contract. As General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full catering operation – ensuring exceptional service, compliance, and financial performance. You’ll:
Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver outstanding service every day.
Build strong relationships with our client, acting as their main point of contact.
Drive operational excellence, ensuring all brand and contractual standards are met.
Manage budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability.
Deliver innovative food and hospitality experiences that exceed expectations.
Champion health, safety, and sustainability across all areas of the unit.
We’re looking for a confident and proactive leader with:
Proven experience managing catering or hospitality operations.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent financial and organisational ability – you know how to hit targets and control budgets.
A customer-first mindset and strong communication skills.
The ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and inspire your team to deliver their best.
