Temporary Forklift Operator - Counterbalance Licence (Outdoor Work)
About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team on a temporary basis. The role involves outdoor yard work, moving and loading materials safely and efficiently using a counterbalance forklift.
You'll be working as part of a friendly, hands-on team in a busy yard environment - so reliability, attention to safety, and good teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to load/unload vehicles and move stock
- Assist with general yard duties as required
- Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
- Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Previous experience in a yard or outdoor environment (an advantage)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
