Temporary to permanent position
£14.00 to £16.00 per hour
Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30pm Fridays 07.30am to 13.30pm
Immediate start available
Must hold full UK manual car licence
Our client based in Dorchester is seeking a FACTORY MAINTENANCE OPERATIVEto join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be deemed as an all-rounder who will be responsible for the upkeep/running of their production lines, machines and equipment.
Duties will include but not limited to:
• Daily checks on the production machines and equipment
• Checking water treatment systems and sludge removal
• Meter readings and monitoring of other processes.
• Carry out general electrical and plumbing fixes
• Use of company van to deliver products locally
• Use of a forklift - training will be provide if licence not held
• Caretaking duties of the outdoor areas
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
• Previous maintenance experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Technical aptitude
• Ability to diagnose and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
• and problem solve
• Team work is essential with this role
