The Role
The Governing Board of High Lawn Primary & Nursery School are looking to employ a number of enthusiastic and motivated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and popular school. The successful candidates will have a positive attitude to all aspects of school life and be able to work as part of a team. They will have the ability to maintain our high standards and have a firm belief in the potential of all children.
The posts are to support children on a one to one basis in year groups across the school who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
- have experience of being a Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Assistant in a primary school;
- are an exemplary Teaching Assistant/SNA;
- have experience of supporting children who have an Education Health and Care Plan;
- have an excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum;
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour;
- are committed to working in close partnership with parents, Governors and the wider community.
