Dental Recruitment Group Ltd is collaborating with a private practice in Borehamwood to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Days/Hours : Full-time, 40 hours/week - Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: Negotiable/To be discussed during the hiring process
The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.
Responsibilities include managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and performing administrative and reception duties to uphold the practice's reputation for excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception & Patient Management: Welcoming patients, maintaining a clean reception area, managing calls/emails, leading staff huddles, and promoting the practice's reputation.
Diary & Appointment Management: Efficient scheduling, managing recalls, and optimising appointment productivity.
Administrative & Data Management: Maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to GDPR, and managing financial records.
Patient Journey & Hospitality: Ensuring high standards of care, upselling treatments, and providing comfort to patients.
Finance & Reporting: Processing payments, maintaining financial accuracy, and reporting income.
Communication: Acting as a key communication point for patients and staff, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Compliance & Health & Safety: Adhering to safeguarding policies, infection control protocols, and the practices policies.
Requirements to be considered for the Patient Care Coordinator role:
Experience in front-of-house or administrative roles (preferably in dental/healthcare).
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
