Summary

Children and Young People Service are recruiting a full time 37 hours Professional Practice Support Team Leader, at Grade 6 level within the Fostering & Adoption Team. Providing a flexible, high quality, efficient and responsive business support service, complying with procedures and practices to support the delivery of front-line services.
The post holder will be based at Kenworthy House. The role includes managing the business support staff team, supporting senior managers in the delivery of efficient and effective support services, arranging meetings and panels, minute taking, financial transactions and monitoring and maintaining databases / data entry.
The post holder must have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification, skills and experience of working in a busy demanding environment. Experience of managing staff, good interpersonal and communication skills and proficient in the use of IT. The role can be emotionally demanding, you must be able to maintain confidentiality whilst working within GDP Regulations.
