Summary
A warm, friendly, and active family are seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper to help
support the smooth running of their busy household. This role combines housekeeping duties
with some after-school nanny responsibilities.
Housekeeping tasks will include meal preparation, laundry, ironing, changing beds, and
ensuring the home is kept clean, organised, and running efficiently. The role also involves caring
for the family’s animals, including walking the dogs and helping with the chickens, so someone
with a hands-on, “muck in” attitude who enjoys being around animals would be a great fit.
Child related duties will focus on collecting the children from school, driving them to and from
after-school clubs on a Tuesday, supporting them with homework, and assisting with dinner
and bedtime routines. The children are active, polite, and enjoy a variety of sports and creative
pursuits, so a candidate who can engage warmly and confidently with them will be ideal.
The perfect candidate will be nurturing, thorough, and attentive to detail, with a strong sense of
responsibility and commitment. Proven reliability, initiative, and longevity in previous roles are
highly valued, as is a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for family life.
