Summary
We are seeking a qualified electrician to cover the Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 and comes with Van. Tablet and Phone.
The Company
The company are a property maintenance company who provide a wide range of services to customers all over the UK. These include gas and electrical safety inspections, Legionella testing, CO and smoke alarm repairs and installations. Head office is based in rural Suffolk.
The Job
Working within the field you will be required to perform remedial works, EICRs and PAT testing as required. This is a customer facing role where you will be required to deal with tenants, landlords and on occasion members of the public too.
Duties will include:
• Regular communication with the regional office who supply and manage your work
• Confident in carrying out accurate EICR inspections
• Fault diagnosis
• Electrical remedial repairs
• Installation work
The Requirements
• Demonstrable experience as an electrician with City & Guilds 2382 Level 3 Wiring Regulations 2382 – 18 (18th Edition)
• City and guilds 2391 or 2394 and 2395 are also essential
• Previous experience in Domestic electrical work
• Must be reliable and punctual and not leave customers waiting
• Computer literate in order to complete electronic certification on the company’s online system – full training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills
Ideally you will also have the following:
• City and Guilds 2377 Electrical Equipment/ Appliance maintenance and testing
Please de aware that you must have a full driving licence with no disqualification and live within a reasonable distance from the territory you will be covering.
