Summary

PCB Assembler

Short-term contract

Up to £18-£19/hour

  • Mon-fri days

Due to a high-volume of production demands, my client based near Henlow, Bedfordshire is looking for a PCB Assembler to join the business on a short-term contract until mid to late January 2026.


Roles/Responsibilities

  • Assemble PCBs using surface mount and through-hole technology
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Place and solder components accurately onto PCBs
  • Use both hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Inspect assembled boards for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Perform rework and repair on defective boards as needed
  • Operate pick-and-place machines and other automated assembly equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve assembly issues
  • Identify faults and communicate to manager/ supervisor

What We're Looking For

  • 3 years+ experience in PCB Assembly
  • Availability to carry out a short-term contract with immediate start
