The Role: As a Home Service Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring Lynhales Hall remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role supports the home’s new Dementia strategies, raising Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) standards to a new level while preserving our country house atmosphere.
You will work under the guidance of the Home Services Manager, collaborating with the Laundry Services Operative, Maintenance Operative, Head Chef, and care teams to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and infection control Resident Experience Statement As a Home Service Operative at Lynhales Hall, the standards you uphold each day ensure our residents live in a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. By maintaining infection control and creating clean, comfortable spaces, you help protect residents’ health and dignity while supporting a true sense of home.

About You: You will have the ability to ensure infection control measures are adhered to and the cleanliness of the home is of a high standard as expected within a luxury environment. Your previous experience will come with knowledge of COSHH, infection control and health & safety requirements. You will be reliable, organised and able to manage workload effectively. Basic DIY knowledge, and a good level of physical fitness, appropriate to the demands of the role. Experience of working in a care home environment would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide the knowledge required if you have the relevant skills, experience and share our core values.
