Long Term Futures is seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kensington & Chelsea. This exciting role offers the opportunity to support pupils in Year 3 and Year 4, providing both 1:1 assistance and wider classroom support across the KS2 phase.

This position is ideal for a confident and proactive practitioner who enjoys taking initiative, leading small groups, and making a measurable impact on pupils' academic and emotional development.

About the Role

You'll work closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals to ensure that pupils receive targeted and consistent support. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning and communication needs.
- Providing small group interventions in English, Maths, and social skills.
- Supporting teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4.
- Assisting with planning, preparation, and adapting resources to ensure accessibility.
- Modelling positive behaviour and fostering inclusion within the classroom.
- Liaising with teachers and parents to track progress and maintain open communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 3+) or HLTA with KS2 experience.
- Skilled in supporting pupils with SEN, communication, or learning difficulties.
- Confident leading small groups and contributing to whole-class support.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
- Positive, reliable, and passionate about children's progress and wellbeing.
