About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Parts Supervisor to join our client’s busy and professional dealership/workshop. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the motor trade, excellent organisational skills, and a strong customer focus to take the lead in managing day-to-day parts operations.
The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of the parts department — supporting technicians, managing stock levels, handling trade and retail enquiries, and ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the parts department, ensuring all processes run efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and motivate the parts team to achieve departmental targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate stock control, ordering, and replenishment systems.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with technicians, suppliers, and customers.
- Oversee trade and retail parts sales, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.
- Monitor parts performance metrics and report results to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and manufacturer standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Parts Supervisor, Senior Parts Advisor, or Parts Team Leader role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and components (OEM and aftermarket).
- Confident using DMS/Parts cataloguing systems (e.g. Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- A valid UK driving licence.
