Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Service:
Assist in the preparation of vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and other simple dishes.
Support the Cook in serving meals to pupils and staff.
Ensure portion control and presentation standards are maintained.
Cleaning and Hygiene:
Wash up pots, pans, trays, and other kitchen equipment.
Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and dining areas to a high standard.
Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations, including correct storage and disposal of food.
