Your Role
To offer lived experience and insight to support the development and improvement of digital and technology-enabled care within Adult Social Care. The postholder will act as a critical friend to social work and occupational therapy teams, ensuring technology solutions enhance person-centred care, promote independence, and genuinely reflect the needs of service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Digital Care Implementation
- Provide lived experience to inform the creation and rollout of digital and technology-enabled care solutions across adult social care.
- Collaborate and support frontline teams (social work and occupational therapy) in selecting appropriate digital and TEC solutions to improve residents’ outcomes.
- Increase awareness and understanding of digital care tools among practitioners and service users.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops, ensuring people’s voices help shape future service developments.
- Champion inclusion and accessibility in digital care and be a critical friend
- Contribute to supported decision-making that guides the development of digital care policies, guidance, and best practice materials.
About You
Are you someone who receives adult social care services and has a passion for technology? We’re looking for a Tech Champion by Experience someone who understands the real-world impact of care and wants to help shape the future of digital support.
You don’t need to be a tech expert just curious, creative, and ready to share your insights. This role is about using your lived experience to guide how technology can truly empower people, improve services, and make life easier for others in the care community.
