I am looking for a patient, caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support my 14-year-old son who has learning difficulties. He is a sweet-natured, loving and creative young person who enjoys arts and crafts, cooking and spending time out and about. The role involves supporting him in the activities he enjoys, both at home and in the community, while ensuring his safety and promoting his independence.
Tasks will include personal care, waiting with him for his school transport on Tuesday mornings, and spending time with him on Saturday afternoons. The hours are four hours on Saturdays during term time and six hours in school holidays. Some flexibility with days and times can be arranged by mutual agreement.
The position is based in Haywards Heath and the rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. This role would suit someone kind, patient and dependable, who enjoys working with young people and helping them thrive. If this sounds like you, please get in touch- I'd love to hear from you.
