The Salesians of Don Bosco have been resident in Bootle for almost sixty years. Some of the Salesian priests and brothers work in the parish of St James’s and others at the Salesian Academy of St John Bosco. Our community house at St James’s is a place of welcome and belonging.
We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our small team. You will share responsibility for menu planning, purchasing, stock rotation, cleaning and providing appropriate catering for the residents in consultation with the Housekeeping Supervisor. You must hold a valid Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, be reliable and trustworthy. You will be well presented and have a friendly nature.
Hours: 1.30pm to 6.30pm, Wednesday to Friday
