This role is hybrid, predominantly based in our Liverpool office, with travel to St Helens and Warrington in line with business
needs. There is flexibility to work from home; however, team days will be held in Liverpool on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Handling an active caseload of housing disrepair cases, both pre- and post-litigation.
* Drafting statements, interlocutory applications, and preparing documents for court files.
* Liaising with colleagues, client departments, opponent solicitors, and counsel.
* Representing Torus in court and tribunal hearings as required.
* Supporting the Legal Services team in ensuring compliance with legislation, identifying risks, and implementing controls.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of housing law, regulations, guidance, and company policies.
* Collaborating with internal teams to provide clear, timely advice and deliver a seamless service to customers.
* Contributing to value for money, efficiency, and continuous improvement in processes.
* Adhering to Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, and company policies in all work.

What We Are Looking For:

* Degree-level education or equivalent relevant training/experience.
* Demonstrable experience working with housing disrepair cases
* Experience in collaborative working and delivering business support to client teams.
* High levels of IT literacy and ability to work effectively with digital tools.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, tenants, and external stakeholders.
* Personal accountability, resilience, and a proactive approach to completing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Interview Process:

* Candidates will be invited to in-person interviews, which will include a competency-based interview and a presentation. Full
details of the presentation brief will be provided once you are invited to interview. Interviews are scheduled to take place on
Tuesday 2nd December 2025 at our Liverpool office.

Additional Information:

Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed:

* Right to work verification
* Qualification certificate check
* 2x Completed references
* OH Health Questionnaire – Fit for Work
* DBS check (if required for role)
* Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s
